John Pinkerton II Departing from Odiham, Hampshire

Enjoy a peaceful pace of life with a boat trip from Odiham in Hampshire on the Basingstoke Canal. Depending on weather and water conditions, the 50-seater boat travels east or west from Odiham at a relaxing, less than walking speed. Plenty of time to enjoy a drink from the bar and watch the beautiful countryside go by.

The John Pinkerton II boat trips operate from Odiham in Hampshire.

There is ample parking in the nearby carpark located just over the canal bridge, just past the Water Witch pub.

Charter Trips on John Pinkerton II

Charter trips are available every day between April and October.

Unlike the public and theme trips, charter trips are unique one-off events that may require tailoring to the requirements of the customer.

All charter requests are subject to confirmation by our Booking team who will be in touch with you to discuss your trip and make the necessary arrangements. To find out more about catering and entertainment, please visit our FAQ page.

Trip duration times are approximate as local conditions may impact. If you are not sure or want to discuss alternatives times then you can contact our Booking Team on 0750 686 4411 (between 10am and 6pm) or by clicking here.

Scheduled times:

10.00am : 2.00pm : 7.00pm

Your party of up to 50 guests will have exclusive use of the boat for a 2.5 hour cruise from Odiham

Costs 2023 Season
High Season: July & August
Monday to Friday afternoon £360/Friday evening to Sunday £380
Mid Season: May: June & September
Monday to Friday afternoon £320/Friday evening to Sunday £340
Low Season: April & October
Monday to Friday afternoon £280/Friday evening to Sunday £300
A 3.5 hour extended trip can be arranged for an additional £80

Deposits
Bookings will only be confirmed once the required deposit has been paid.
For private charter groups, this is 50% of the charter fee. For coach or tour operators the deposit is £50.00
Full payment is requested 14 days before the trip

Discounts
A discount of 10% is offered for weekday daytime cruises booked by schools and parties of senior citizens or disabled persons.
