Dogmersfield Flower Show
We arrived on a dismal day and pitched both our gazebos and the Buzzer Box in our usual place by the fence. Thankfully, the sun came out after the vintage vehicles arrived and brought local visitors to a well-attended country show.
Our second gazebo was used to display and sell some green & white china, which Penny took great delight in arranging. It created some interest and after paying for the extra stall, £70 was donated to the canal society.
Nature Discovery Day at Edenbrook Country Park
A new event arranged by Hart District Council following on as part of their “Greening Fleet” project.
The field was huge, but a difficult site to find. We felt that it hadn’t been advertised much in the local community. Most of the visitors that we spoke to said that they had seen social media posts.
Unfortunately, we didn’t have enough volunteers to be able to attend the “Wilder Families” event at Brookwood, on the same day.
