Fishing on the Basingstoke Canal for the 2024/2025 season is managed by the Basingstoke Canal Authority. In order to fish on the Basingstoke Canal, you will be required to purchase a fishing permit which is issued by the Basingstoke Canal Authority.
Permits are available to purchase online from the Hampshire County Council Shop.
The Basingstoke Canal is a wonderful place to fish but please do remember that due to the Canal being a Site of Special Scientific Interest, no fishing is permitted between March and June to allow for fish spawning.
