To celebrate our 60th anniversary The Basingstoke Canal Society is launching a corporate membership scheme for organisations that would like to provide ongoing support for our work.
The Canal is a navigation for boaters, a haven for wildlife (a Site of Special Scientific Interest), an amenity for recreation and well-being such as walking, running and cycling. The Canal Society has the Queen’s Award for Voluntary service and is fully ran by over 300 volunteers.
We value support from local businesses to help us to continue our work.
We will recognise the support provided by our corporate members and will use this website and our other communications channels to recognise our corporate sponsors in the following ways:
- List your organisation as a corporate sponsor on our website
- Recognise your corporate membership in Basingstoke Canal News (our quarterly members publication)
- Publicise your corporate membership through our social media channels
- Annual thank you – news item on website, in Basingstoke Canal News and on social media
The rates for corporate members are:
- Small organisation (under 50 employees) £100
- Large organisation (over 50 employees) £250 (including boat trip for 4 staff)
We look forward to you becoming a corporate member and helping to support The Basingstoke Canal Society to continue to support the canal to thrive.
