Public trips are now open for booking on Kitty in Woking and John Pinkerton II in Odiham from the week beginning 21st June.  Kitty public trips will be running on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays as well as on Fridays until 16th September.  John Pinkerton II public trips are on Wednesdays  and Sundays. John Pinkerton II has been repainted and there have been enhancements to the interior with larger tables (when food is served), better waste areas and our real coffee machine which is now up and running.

Don’t forget that we will be running our free members trips every month after June so come along and see the improvements for yourself We’ll be starting theme trips on the John Pinkerton  from June this year as government restrictions allow.

The first trip will be on Friday June 25th with the “Burgundy Boaters” Jazz band providing traditional entertainment with  a selection of ales and a fish and chip supper as we cruise the canal to Winchfield ( Barley Mow)

On 7th July our ever popular cream tea cruise makes a welcome return. Scones and clotted cream with tea / /coffee  all served on china tea service . Our pianist plays traditional favorites to give a thoroughly relaxing afternoon cruise.

Join us for a Spanish Tapas cruise on 16th July and the Ramble and Cruise trip on  the 20th July (Ramble up to Barley Mow with Ploughman’s lunch on the return cruise (or the other way round ).

A new innovation for this year is our “Grand cafe” afternoon tea cruise with finger sandwiches, cakes and delicacies served with  Prosecco in addition to a selection of teas and fresh ground coffee. . This first Grand cafe cruise will be on 23rd July.

Other theme cruises for August and September will be announced later.

If you’re planning a club or business away day, family reunion, birthday celebration, wedding reception, or would like to hire usfor any other event then John Pinkerton II offers a unique and attractive event venue for up to 50 people.  The boat has a fully licensed bar and can provide catering options. There are also links for the provision of music and talks about the canal.

For smaller groups, Kitty can take up to 12 people and is wheel-chair accessible.  From 21st June, there will be no restrictions on groups or numbers. More information can be found by clicking here.

Private charter trips on both boats can be booked from the 17th May but these will be restricted until June 21st to a maximum of two households or 6 persons. Full details are on the booking site.

All trips are crewed by trained volunteers who are passionate about the canal and all proceeds go towards maintaining and enhancing the canal for all to enjoy.
