Farnborough Airshow – Towpath Closures

To enable the flying displays at the Farnborough International Airshow, the Canal navigation and towpath will be CLOSED to all users between Eelmoor bridge and Norris bridge in Hampshire, during the times below.

This includes all towpath users (walkers, runners, dog walkers, cyclists, anglers etc.) and all water users (including canoes, kayaks and paddleboards and powered boats).

The map attached shows the closed section in Red. For powered boats heading downstream, the last winding hole will be just downstream of Pondtail bridge in Fleet. As Ash Lock is closed, there is likely to be very little boat movement heading upstream, but the last winding hole would be just after the A325 road bridge.
