 ingstoke Canal\n\n Departs from Colt Hill wharf\, Odiham\, RG29 1DH\n Fu

may be extended in low water conditions\n Public Trips terms and conditio
ns are here\n\nThe direction the boat goes on the canal is decided by the
boat captain on the day based on current conditions.\n\nGoing west from Od
iham\, you will see a mud barge\, (used in dredging the canal during resto
ration in the 1970s and 80s)\, several canal bridges and will watch the li

with the acidic water as the canal passes through the Surrey heathlands\,
has given rise to one of the largest varieties of aquatic plants and inve
rtebrates in the United Kingdom.\n\nAs many as 25 of Britain’s 39 specie
s of dragonflies and damselflies inhabit the canal.\n\nLook out for kingfi
 shers\, herons\, swans\, ducks\, geese\, moorhens (often with young) and v
arious local floras.\n\nClick here to view our Boat Trip FAQs.
