A Summer Sunday Afternoon Cruise with Excel Four Jazz  Band.

A perfect way to enjoy cruising the canal on a summer Sunday afternoon, to the sounds of Excel Four Jazz Band.
The Excel Four play a unique blend of New Orleans and Traditional jazz. With a repertoire of Rags, Marches and Blues interspersed with many popular tunes of yesteryear we guarantee to get your feet tapping. Tony leads on cornet, with Bernie on clarinet, Kevin on banjo and Mike on double Bass. Spawned from the Excel Jazzmen, formed in 1990, we have played throughout the South and frequently on John Pinkerton I and II.
  • Departs at 2pm.  Please be at the wharf by 1.40pm.
  • A great opportunity to enjoy toe-tapping tunes or just have a catch-up with your friends
  • Tables are laid for groups of 4 people, and although we can make slight adjustments you may be asked to share
  • If you would like to sit with friends who are booking separately, please make a note of this in “Additional Comments”. We will try our best to accommodate you.
  • Licensed bar and galley is open all afternoon for you to purchase hot and cold drinks from our extensive range of wines, ales, soft drinks and more.
  • Cakes and snacks are available from the galley or you are welcome to bring your own picnic.
  • This cruise will last around 3 hours.
  • Cruise times may be extended in low water conditions. If booking a taxi home check with the skipper for eta.
  • Recommended for adults only
  • Bookings close on 25th July at 10pm (unless sold out before then)
