About

Cruise in the peaceful surroundings of the Basingstoke Canal.

The Basingstoke Canal Society is a registered charity which owns two passenger boats, the John Pinkerton II and the Kitty, that provide pleasure trips on the Basingstoke Canal.

The unique ecological importance of the canal is recognised by Natural England who has designated the canal, apart from a stretch at Woking, as a site of special scientific interest (SSSI).

You can book seats or attend themed events. You can even charter the whole boat for family, friends or work colleagues.

Both boats are crewed by trained and qualified volunteers.
